Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of bpviz, a process and decision system operated by an individual operator based in California, United States. By using the service, or by continuing with Google to create an account, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use bpviz.

The service

bpviz lets you describe processes in natural language and get interactive diagrams, metrics, forecasts, and related views. Features may change as we develop the product. We may add, modify, or remove functionality.

Accounts

You need a Google account to sign in. You are responsible for the activity on your bpviz account and for keeping access to that Google account secure. You must be at least 13 years old. Do not share your session or attempt to access someone else’s account.

Your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit (process descriptions, chat, metrics, observations, and similar). You grant us a license to host, process, display, and otherwise use that content as needed to operate bpviz — including sending it to the subprocessors listed in our Privacy Policy (language-model and embedding providers, hosting, and the database).

If you publish a share link, you are responsible for what it contains and for choosing public versus unlisted visibility. Public shares may be indexed. Unlisted shares are reachable by anyone with the URL.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for anything illegal, or to store or share content you do not have the right to use.
  • Probe, disrupt, or overload the service, or attempt to bypass quotas, authentication, or access controls.
  • Scrape share pages or other public surfaces in a way that harms the service or other users.
  • Misrepresent the service’s AI output as professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.

AI-generated output

Diagrams, chat replies, summaries, forecasts, and other generated artifacts can be wrong, incomplete, or outdated. They are tools for your own thinking, not professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing output before you rely on it or share it with others. Statistical forecasts, where shown, are estimates based on the data you have logged — not guarantees.

Plans and availability

A free tier with usage limits is available today. Paid plans may be offered later; we will describe pricing and billing if and when that happens. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may suspend or limit access to protect the service or other users, or if you violate these terms.

Disclaimer

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that output will be accurate or that the service will be error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, bpviz and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars if you have paid nothing.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. To delete your account, email us (see Contact). We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or if we discontinue the product. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a court finds a provision unenforceable, the rest still applies.

Changes

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page and changing the “Last updated” date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
